How to Use AI More Effectively

How to Translate a Complex Medical Analysis into Understandable Text Using a Neural Network: A Step-by-Step Guide

Tip: Don't ask AI to "explain everything at once," but break the task into 3 small steps — identifying deviations, explaining causes, and formulating questions for the doctor.

The first step is to upload a scan or text of the analysis (PDF, JPG, PNG) to the neural network and add context: age, sex, symptoms, medications, dietary supplements, as well as reference values (norms) from the report. Ask the AI only to identify deviations from the norm and indicate which indicators are elevated (⬆️) or decreased (⬇️), without diagnoses or complex terms. For example: "Find indicators outside the norm, mark their status, and list only their names" [3][4].

The second step is to ask in the next prompt to explain each deviated indicator in simple terms: what it is, what are the possible reasons for increase/decrease (without a diagnosis), what symptoms it may be associated with, and which doctor to consult. Use verbs like "explain," "tell," "list," and avoid long prompts — 2-3 short requests are better [3][5]. For example: "For each deviated indicator, explain its role in the body, possible causes, and connection to my complaints" [3].

The third step is to create a list of smart questions for the doctor: which indicators require attention in the future, which need to be retested, what needs to be discussed urgently, and what additional tests might be informative for your symptoms (e.g., ferritin for fatigue). Conclude the answer with a clear action plan: 1) schedule an appointment with a general practitioner, 2) retest X, 3) add test Y [3][6][7].
